WWTP Plant Maintenance Specialist

The Town of Ahoskie is seeking a Plant Maintenance Specialist to work at the Ahoskie Wastewater Treatment Plant. Duties include providing maintenance and upkeep of equipment to include electrical and instrumentation systems, trouble, diagnoses, and repair equipment failures. The applicant must obtain a Grade III WWTP Operator’s License from the NC Water Pollution Control System Operators Certification Commission within four years of employment. Minimum starting salary $34,815. DOE/Q plus state managed retirement plan, 5% contribution to 401k, health, dental, vision and life insurance, paid sick, vacation and holiday leave. Streets Maintenance Worker- Temporary, Part-Time

The Town of Ahoskie is currently seeking a part-time Streets Maintenance Worker to assist Ahoskie Public Works Department with equipment operation and responsible unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work and in the Street and Sanitation Division. An employee in this position operates heavy equipment and trucks, and performs varied maintenance and repair work on streets, storm drains, signs, sidewalks and curbs, parking lots, athletic fields, parks and Town facilities to include debris removal. This position is a temporary, part-time position with a pay rate of $16.00 hourly and will be open until filled.

Utility Accounts Specialist- Part-Time

The Town of Ahoskie is currently seeking a part-time Utility Accounts Specialist to assist with utility billing, collection activities and responding to customer service inquiries at Ahoskie Town Hall. The Town of Ahoskie is seeking a full-time Police Officer to perform a full range of general law enforcement duties.
