Proclamation Declaring a State of Emergency

Pursuant to Chapter 166A of the General Statues and Article 36A Chapter14 of the General Statues, I have determined that a State of Emergency exists in the Town of Ahoskie starting 01/24/2026 at 5:00p.m.until further notice.  I, therefore, proclaim the existence of a State of Emergency in the Town of Ahoskie.

I hereby order all law enforcement officers and employees and all other emergency management personnel subject to my control to cooperate in the enforcement and implementation of the provisions of the emergency ordinances which are set forth below.

Execution of Emergency Plan. All civilians and emergency response personnel are ordered to comply with the emergency response plan.

This proclamation is effective on the date and time listed above.
