Notice of Modified Town Council Meeting Schedule

Adopted on January 28, 2026, the Ahoskie Town Council approved modifications to the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting calendar due to scheduling conflicts that would impact Council availability and operational continuity.

The following changes were approved in open session:

• March Council Meeting
  Originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2026,
  Rescheduled to Monday, March 23, 2026

All meetings will continue to be held at their regularly scheduled time and location.

Typically, the Ahoskie Town Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise posted. Meetings are open to the public and conducted in accordance with North Carolina Open Meetings Law.

For the safety of all attendees, a metal detector screening process is required prior to entering the building.  Meetings are also live-streamed and available for viewing online through the Town’s website and social media.  Notices of any changes, special meetings, or additional meetings will be posted on the Town’s website.
