Emergency Town Council Meeting — Town Attorney Contract Award

Notice is hereby given that the Ahoskie Town Council will hold an Emergency Meeting to consider and approve the Request for Proposals (RFP) recommendation for the Town Attorney Services Contract.

The purpose of the meeting is to ensure continuity of legal representation for ongoing Town matters requiring immediate action.

This meeting has been called pursuant to N.C.G.S. §143-318.12(b)(3), which permits emergency meetings when immediate consideration is necessary to address circumstances that could not reasonably have been foreseen and where delay would likely result in substantial harm to the public interest.
